148 (Barnsley) Squadron is part of the Royal Air Force Air Cadets — a national youth organisation that develops the leaders of tomorrow. We're based in Barnsley, South Yorkshire, and we're open to young people aged 12 to 20.

Air experience flights in Grob Tutor fixed-wing aircraft and Grob Viking gliders, plus pilot navigation and flying-scholarship training.

Enrolment is open for young people aged 12–20 in and around Barnsley. Parade nights run every Tuesday and Friday, 19:00–21:30.
